Maia Monell has a diverse work experience. Maia started their career in 2010 as an Intern in Communications at Higher Ground Sun Valley. In 2013, they became an Intern at McCue & Partners LLP. In 2014, they joined FutureBrand as a Strategy. In 2015, they took on the role of Social Media Manager at Atkinsons Market. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at BridgeAthletic as a Director of Communications, Consumer Insights Analyst, and Customer Experience Specialist. In 2019, they became Co-Founder & Chief Growth Officer at Nav.it, a fitness app for finances. In this role, they were responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of all user performance to marketing and product teams. Maia also kickstarted the development of cutting-edge communication initiatives to publicize platform benefits and maximize exposure.
Maia Monell attended St. George's School for their high school education. Maia then attended Wake Forest University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in English. Maia then participated in a Fall Semester Abroad Program at Boston University. Following this, they attended King's College London for a course in Global Health and Negotiation Skills and Business Communications. Maia also attended University of Cambridge for a Summer Term. Finally, Maia Monell obtained a Master's Degree in Marketing Strategy and Innovation from Cass Business School in 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Masters of Science from Cass Business School in August 2016 and a Bachelors of Arts in English from Wake Forest University.
