Mark Clark

VP, Engineering at Nava

Mark Clark is the current VP of Engineering at Nava. Prior to their current position, Clark served as the Senior Director at Amtrak from January 2015 to December 2021. In this role, they were accountable for the strategic and day-to-day network design and support plan that achieved targeted service levels for all IT-managed telephone and data services across the United States.

Some of Clark's key responsibilities included providing network leadership across the organization, defining the strategic and tactical solutions necessary to support ongoing business operations, and being responsible for change management and new release validation/testing. Mark was also responsible for coordinating and reviewing all new network designs and architectures to ensure that they conform to existing organizational standards and that the operational support plans and budgets are sound and achieved.

In addition to their work at Amtrak, Clark has also been responsible for researching and documenting new technologies and their operating and support constraints. Mark has also managed the planning and implementation of the appropriate security controls necessary to ensure the integrity of enterprise applications.
