Berrin Nejad (Gunyuz)

Berrin (Gunyuz) Nejad has had extensive work experience in the field of community development and planning. Berrin (Gunyuz) began their career as the Planning and Development Services Director at the City of Garden City, Idaho in 2001 and held this position until 2005. From 2005 to 2009, they served as the Planning and Development Services Manager at the City of Surprise. In 2009, they became the City Planner for the City of Leavenworth, Kansas, where they worked until 2013. From 2013 to 2019, they were the Community Development Director at the City of Cottonwood, Arizona. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Navajo County as their Community Development Director.
