Krystle Jones

Krystle Jones, M.B.A., has a diverse work experience in various roles related to contract management and administration, management analysis, and production planning.

Starting in 2006, Krystle worked at Newport News Shipbuilding, a Division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, as a Structural Designer, where they collaborated with different teams to ensure the smooth manufacturing of Navy Aircraft Carriers. Krystle also served as a Production Planner & Scheduler, responsible for tracking the progress of significant work items on multi-billion dollar contracts.

In 2014, Krystle joined Plasser American as a Production Planner, where they facilitated the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning program and resolved daily issues on the shop floor.

From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Management Analyst at Alion Science and Technology, where they reviewed personnel assignments, prepared reports, and made recommendations to improve organizational programs and operations.

In 2016, Krystle joined Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) as a Contract Specialist, administering and closing contracts for ship repair projects. Krystle later moved up to become a Contracting Officer, gaining expertise in Continuous Maintenance Availabilities and Docking Phased Maintenance Availabilities. Currently, they serve as the Contract Team Lead, leading pre to post-award contract functions and training junior Contract Specialists.

Krystle Jones, M.B.A., holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Graphics from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, which they completed between 2001 and 2005. Krystle further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Project Management from Strayer University, graduating between 2011 and 2013. In addition to their formal education, Krystle also holds certifications in DAWIA Level 2 from Defense Acquisition University and is a Warranted Contracting Officer in the US Navy.
