Steve Zirkle

Steve Zirkle began their work experience in 1977 as a LCDR in the US Navy. After serving there for a period of 21 years, they transitioned to Perot Systems in 1998, where they worked as a Consultant until 2005. In 2005, they joined Thomson West as a Project Manager, and then moved on to Naviant Group LLC in 2007, where they held the position of BPM Consultant until 2011. Finally, in 2012, they joined Naviant, Inc. as a Process Consultant, which is their current role.

Steve Zirkle has an extensive education history. Steve started by attending Mahopac High School, though the specific start and end years are unknown. Following high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, which they completed from 1977 to 1981.

Afterward, Steve attended Purdue University in 1976, where they studied Engineering but did not receive a degree. Steve then returned to Purdue University from 1987 to 1988 to earn a Master of Science degree in Management from the Daniels School of Business.

Continuing their education, Steve attended the U.S. Naval War College from 1995 to 1998 to specialize in National Security & Strategic Studies, although they did not mention obtaining a degree from this institution.

To enhance their professional qualifications, Steve also obtained several certifications. Steve received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2005. In November 2008, they obtained the Enterprise Content Management Practitioner (ECMp) certification from AIIM International. Two years later, in January 2010, they acquired the Business Process Management Practitioner (BPMp) certification from the same institution.

More recently, Steve obtained two certifications from Hyland—OnBase Certified Workflow Engineer in June 2018 and OnBase Certified WorkView Developer in May 2020. These certifications showcase their proficiency in Hyland's enterprise content management software.
