Amelia Bowser is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community organization, project management, and marketing. Currently serving as a Junior Database Developer at Navy Island Inc. since January 2023, Amelia also has held roles in various organizations, including HR Assistant at Mocha Momma's Coffee MN and Campaign Project Manager at ShotBlock. Previous experience includes successful grant writing for Compost AVL, organizational leadership as a Community Organizer for Heritage Park Neighborhood Association, and supervisory roles with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board. Amelia co-founded Community Resource Rallies and Wheels 2 Heal, emphasizing advocacy and racial justice initiatives. Additionally, Amelia founded and directed the Food Recovery Network, focusing on sustainability and food redistribution. Amelia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature with a Creative Writing concentration and a minor in Spanish from Gordon College.
