Dawn Cutler

Dawn Cutler has extensive experience in strategic communication and public affairs within the military and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society since November 2019, Dawn previously held the role of Executive Consultant at Dawn Cutler Consulting, LLC from January 2018 to February 2020. Dawn's military career with the US Navy spanned from June 2010 to August 2017, including positions as Chief of Information and Deputy Chief of Information, where responsibilities included leading strategic communication efforts and overseeing public affairs professionals. Dawn's earlier roles involved significant public affairs planning with the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and serving as Director of Communications Public Affairs for US Naval Forces Europe & Africa. Dawn holds a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oregon State University.
