Marius Nica

Marius Nica is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the nuclear and aviation sectors. Currently serving as Principal Component Engineer at Nawah Energy Company since November 2021, Marius previously held the position of Senior Component Engineer at Doosan Babcock from January to September 2021. Prior experience includes a long tenure at Nuclearelectrica from February 2002 to January 2021, where Marius worked as AOV & MOV Senior Valve Component Engineer and Valve Team Supervisor in the context of the CANDU nuclear power plants in Cernavoda, Romania. Marius also served as an air traffic controller and Shift Supervisor from July 1995 to February 2002, managing military and civilian airspace at an Integrated Command Centre. Marius received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Military Institute of Aviation "Aurel Vlaicu" between 1991 and 1995.
