Sam Napolitano

Sam Napolitano is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership and product development. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Engineering for Direct-to-Consumer at the National Basketball Association since August 2020, Sam previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Pond5, managing a team of over 40 software engineers and product managers. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Engineering at Viacom, where Sam consolidated a distributed team of over 100, and Vice President of Engineering at The Huffington Post, leading teams to develop core media services. Sam's technical expertise was also demonstrated at LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell as Manager of Web Services Technology, overseeing the development and quality assurance of numerous custom websites. Sam's educational background includes studies at Raritan Valley Community College, Somerset County Technical Institute, and The Art Institutes.
