Travis Smith

Travis Smith is a seasoned professional in sales and account management, currently serving as Sr. Director of Sales & Account Management at NBC Sports Next, where a focus on innovative sports technology aligns with the mission to enhance sporting experiences. Prior to this role, Travis worked at SportsEngine in various capacities, including Director of Sales and Regional Sales Manager. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Rocket 55, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and founding Zirbel Houghtaling Smith, LLC, where strategic marketing and business development were emphasized. Travis also contributed to the academic community as an Adjunct Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, guiding Sport Management students in ethical practices and career preparation. Smith holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
