Jose Alvarado

Jose Alvarado has over two decades of experience in IT project engineering and management, primarily within NBC Universal. Currently serving as Director of Project Engineering since August 2015, responsibilities include leading storage engineers and overseeing enterprise storage service delivery, encompassing EMC and NetApp platforms, as well as Microsoft Database and Web Services. Previous roles at NBC Universal include Microsoft Platform Technology Solutions Delivery Manager and Manager of Server Engineering, where tasks involved improving platform solutions and managing server infrastructure. Jose’s career began at Universal Studios as a Systems Engineer, providing Level 3 support for a vast number of servers. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
