NBIS – National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden
Rasool Saghaleyni is a skilled bioinformatics scientist currently employed at the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS) since September 2022, focusing on computational biology projects across Swedish academic research groups. Prior experience includes a role as Project Leader at AddCell, where insights into CRISPR technology were developed, and a postdoctoral researcher position at Chalmers University of Technology, where Rasool led the HumanSec toolbox project related to Alzheimer’s disease. Rasool's academic credentials include a PhD in Systems and Synthetic Biology and a Master's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, complemented by valuable roles in analytical method development, cell culture research, and metabolic network modeling in various research settings.

NBIS will enable world-class life science by providing expert knowledge, creative data integration, advanced training, efficient data publication and access to high-performance data and analysis methods. NBIS will continue coordinating bioinformatics support within Sweden and make bioinformatics easily accessible for life science researchers.
