Sophie Walker

Sophie Walker is an accomplished professional in digital inclusion and stakeholder engagement, currently serving as the Executive Manager of Digital Inclusion in the National Stakeholder Engagement team at nbn® Australia, leading initiatives to enhance digital participation across various communities. With extensive experience in community and stakeholder engagement, Sophie previously held the Executive Manager role for Community and Stakeholder Engagement in Queensland, where strategic engagement efforts focused on maximizing the social and economic benefits of the nbn network. Sophie has also held key positions in organizations such as Beaucare, Seqwater, PRISM Communication Architects, and GHD, where skills in communications, stakeholder consultation, and project management were demonstrated. An academic background includes a Master of International Social Development from UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism from Charles Sturt University.
