Abdullah Aydemir

Master Thesis & Research Assitant at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne)

Abdullah Aydemir is currently involved in innovation and entrepreneurship projects at Vacheron Constantin, focusing on designing a watch case for high-end luxury watches intended for extreme sports. Simultaneously, Abdullah conducts research at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne on vibrational entropy of intermetallic phases and the vibrational properties of Al-Zr ground states. Previous experiences include research assistant roles, analyzing crack propagation in hybrid carbon-fibre composites and studying the impact of heterogeneous substrates on Calcium Silicate Hydrate growth. Abdullah has also held various technical positions in Sabancı Motorsport, contributing to powertrain systems and chassis design, and completed internships at leading aerospace companies, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical design and manufacturing processes. Abdullah is pursuing a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, complemented by a minor in Management, Technology and Entrepreneurship at EPFL.
