Amit Deora

Amit Deora has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Amit currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Cornerstone Building Brands since February 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at Cairn Oil and Gas, including Head of Projects - Tight Oil & Tight Gas from May 2019 to February 2020, and President - Tight Gas Facilities from December 2017 to April 2019. Before joining Cairn Oil and Gas, Amit worked at Baker Hughes, a GE company as an Engineering Manager - Operations from November 2014 to November 2017, and at GE Oil & Gas as a Subsea Programs & Productivity Manager from August 2010 to November 2014. Amit also served as a Business Manager at B from March 2010 to August 2010. Amit obtained an MBA degree from The University of Northampton, United Kingdom from January 2008 to February 2010. Prior to pursuing their MBA, they worked as an Asstt Manager at Maruti Udyog Limited from November 2006 to January 2008, and as an Executive - Engine Manufacturing at Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India Pvt. Ltd. from February 2005 to November 2006.

Amit Deora has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Technical University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. From 2008 to 2010, they pursued an MBA degree at the University of Northampton. In 2023, they completed a course on Strategy Execution at Harvard Business School.
