Syed Faraz Umar

Syed Faraz Umar began their work experience in 2012 as a Server Virtualization Engineer at Aricent, where they provided technical assistance to customers regarding Cisco UCS systems. In 2016, they joined EMC as a Technical Specialist, working on VCE Converged Infrastructure solutions. Syed Faraz then worked at Cisco as an Escalation Engineer, handling escalation calls and creating internal documents. From 2018 to 2022, Syed worked at STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited as an Associate Manager and Senior Technical Lead, designing and creating automation scripts for software installation and configuration. Currently, they are working as a DevOps Lead at NCR Corporation.

Syed Faraz Umar completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University during the period of 2008-2012. Prior to that, they completed their 12th grade education at Career Convent College from 2006-2008. Syed Faraz obtained their 10th grade education from St Dominic Savio College from 1995-2006. In addition to their formal education, Syed Faraz Umar has obtained several certifications, including CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in 2022, VMware certifications in Data Center Virtualization in 2014 and 2016, CCNA from Cisco in 2012, and Red Hat certifications in 2012.
