Joy Sims has a diverse work experience in communications and public relations. Joy started in 1998 as Deputy Press Secretary/Acting Press Secretary/Special Assistant for Senator Jay Rockefeller. Joy then moved on to roles such as Senior Account Executive at Powell Tate in 2001, Account Supervisor at Porter Novelli in 2002, and later as Senior Director at NCTA - The Internet & Television Association in 2006. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Strategic Communications at NCTA.
Joy Sims attended Haverford College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science.
