Alessandro Boccolini

Alessandro Boccolini has held various roles in the technology and research industries since 2012. Alessandro began their career as a Web Developer at the Scottish Institute for Solar Energy Research in 2012. In 2014, they became a Network Facilitator at Heriot-Watt University. In 2015, they took on the role of Laser Physicist at Belford Research Ltd. In 2016, they returned to Heriot-Watt University as a Research Associate in Quantum Imaging Technologies. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at NCTech Imaging.

Alessandro Boccolini completed their PhD in Applied Physics from Heriot-Watt University from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Solid State Physics from University of Pisa. Alessandro also obtained a BSc in Physics from University of Pisa in 2008. Alessandro attended the Scientific High School "Ulisse Dini" prior to that.
