Darin King

Vice Chancellor, IT & CIO at ND University System

Darin King has over 30 years of diverse experience in educational technology and leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice Chancellor of IT and Chief Information Officer for the North Dakota University System since November 2013, Darin previously held the position of Director at the North Dakota Educational Technology Council, where responsibilities included developing technology systems for K-12 education. From April 1991 to August 2012, Darin was the Technology Director and CIO for Grand Forks Public Schools, overseeing technology departments and a technical team. Additional roles include Head Football Coach at Grand Forks Red River High School, Football Analyst for WDAZ-TV, and Network Services Coordinator. Darin's academic qualifications include a PhD (ABD) in Educational Leadership, a Master's degree in Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physical Education.
