Dallas Hammer

Dallas Hammer has a diverse work experience beginning in 2012 as a Sports Multimedia Journalist for KXLY-TV. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Sports Photographer for KHQ-TV. In 2016, Dallas joined Spokane Chiefs Hockey as a Social Media Coordinator. Their most recent position is with NDM, where they started in 2017 and worked as a Security Engineer until 2018. Dallas then became the SOC Team Lead and Principal Engineer, overseeing engineers and analysts, managing SIEM tools, creating custom detection rules, and taking on a Sales Engineer role. Currently, Dallas holds the role of Chief Information Security Officer at NDM, starting in 2023.

Dallas Hammer attended the University of Idaho from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Broadcast Journalism. In 2016, they enrolled at Spokane Falls Community College and completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Information Technology in 2017. Additionally, they obtained the following certifications: LogRhythm Support Engineer and LogRhythm Deployment Engineer from LogRhythm in June 2018 and December 2017, respectively, as well as WatchGuard Fireware Essentials from WatchGuard Technologies in June 2018.
