Christina Donawa has extensive work experience in human resources, finance, and administration. Christina started their career at TIAA-CREF in 1986 as a Supervisor of Payment Distribution. Christina then joined H & R Block in 1988 and served as Regional Controller until 1991. In 1994, they became the Director of Human Resources at NDRI, where they played a key role in managing all aspects of HR operations, systems, and programs. Christina was responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements and government regulations, as well as designing and administering employee benefit programs.
Christina Donawa pursued their undergraduate education from 1978 to 1982 at Hunter College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a field of study in Economics/Business Management.
In addition to their degree, Christina Donawa obtained professional certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In October 1998, they completed the Certificate in Human Resource Management from Baruch College. Later, in December 2005, they attained the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification from HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute).
