Masoud Soroush currently serves as the George B. Francis Chair Professor of Engineering and Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Drexel University, where responsibilities include directing the Future Layered nAnomaterials Knowledge and Engineering (Flake) Consortium and overseeing the Smart Manufacturing Research Experiences for Undergraduates (SMREU) Site. Soroush's academic career at Drexel began as an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering, progressing through the ranks to Associate Professor. Additionally, Soroush has been an Academic Advisor for Near-Miss Management since 2011. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering: Systems, and two Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering, all obtained from the University of Michigan, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Abadan Institute of Technology.
