Massoud Hemmasian Ettefagh

Massoud Hemmasian Ettefagh is a seasoned Mechatronics Engineer currently employed at Nearfield Instruments B.V. since March 2020. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where Massoud established a lab focused on nanopositioning stages, and a research fellowship at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, applying model predictive control methods to aviation systems. Massoud has served as a teaching assistant and laboratory instructor at Amirkabir University of Technology, covering courses in Engineering Dynamics and Automatic Control. Additional roles include a visiting scholar position at the University of Newcastle, designing controllers and mechanical systems, and team leader at Mana Ghete, focused on mechanical design and technical solutions. Massoud holds a PhD and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from Isfahan University of Technology.
