Maricarmen Medina Lara

Maricarmen Medina Lara has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Maricarmen started their career in 2000 as a Programmer and End User Trainer at Farmacias YZA, where they developed reporting solutions, designed custom applications, and provided end user support and training.

From 2001 to 2006, Maricarmen worked at Distribuidora Megamak as a Programador Analítico. Here, they were part of a team responsible for developing the company's credit management system, while also maintaining administrative applications such as payroll, taxes, and time management.

In 2006, Maricarmen joined Chapur S.A. de C.V. as a Programador. During their tenure, they gathered requirements, designed, and programmed applications using Borland C and Microsoft SQL Server. Maricarmen also developed custom applications such as sales indicators and provided training to end users.

From 2008 to 2015, Maricarmen worked at 4th Source as a Programador. Maricarmen performed outsourcing tasks for Accredo/MEDCO and Liberty Medical LLC, utilizing Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and PL/SQL for application development and maintenance. Maricarmen analyzed, designed, and developed fixes and enhancements.

In 2015, Maricarmen joined Liberty Medical LLC as a Computer Systems Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for analysis, design, and implementation of finance reports. Maricarmen worked in the Management Reporting Group, generating financial reports by gathering sales data and processing taxes.

Most recently, Maricarmen joined NearShore Technology in 2017 as a DB Developer.

Overall, Maricarmen has demonstrated proficiency in various programming languages, database technologies, and software development methodologies throughout their career.

Maricarmen Medina Lara attended the Facultad de Matematicas de la UADY from 1994 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in Licenciado en Ciencias de la Computacion. Maricarmen obtained the title of "Pasante" upon completion of their studies.

In addition to their formal education, Maricarmen also obtained additional certifications. In April 2023, they completed the "Curso de Análisis de Negocios para Ciencia de Datos" and "Cómo y Por Qué Aprender Data Science e Inteligencia Artificial" courses at Platzi.
