Yasmin Friedmann

Yasmin Friedmann, PhD has an extensive work experience in various roles. Yasmin is currently the Head of Data at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council since November 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Research Data Scientist at Swansea University from May 2019 to November 2022. Yasmin also worked as a Data Scientist at Cellnovo Group SA from February 2017 to March 2019, where they collected product and process data, performed visualisation and analysis, and presented their findings to all levels in the company. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Swansea University from January 2011 to February 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Software Developer at Wales Cancer Bank from October 2007 to December 2010, and as a Product Engineer at Energy International systems, where they were involved in computer simulations, product design, and hands-on work in building prototypes from an idea to a prototype.

Yasmin Friedmann, PhD, completed their education in Astrophysics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Yasmin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same institution, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. Yasmin'sacademic pursuit continued as they undertook their PhD in Astrophysics from 1998 to 2005 at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
