K.D. Thompson, MBA/MAM, has extensive experience in various roles related to operations, advocacy, and finance.

Starting in 2023, Thompson holds the position of Senior Operations Director at the Nebraska Humane Society.

Prior to this, Thompson worked as a GrOW Navigator at the Greater Omaha Chamber from 2022 to 2023. In this role, Thompson provided next-generation employer benefits and built a strong knowledge base in various resources such as housing, legal, transportation, and financial coaching.

K. D. Thompson, MBA/MAM, completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Management (MAM) from Bellevue University. This academic achievement was earned between 1995 and 1998.

Prior to obtaining an MBA, Thompson acquired a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Management from the same institution. This degree was completed between 1995 and 1997.

Furthermore, Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting, which was obtained from Lincoln University (MO) spanning from 1989 to 1994.

In addition to these educational qualifications, Thompson has recently obtained a certification in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in April 2022.
