Senior Product Design (team Lead / Chapter Lead) at Nedbank

Brad Demos has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Brad started their career in 2009 as a Head Designer at ShuffleUp Poker and later worked as a Multimedia Designer at T-Rex Marketing. In 2010, they became a Lecturer at Vega School of Brand Leadership, where they taught Multimedia Design and managed the second-year program. Brad also conducted workshops for Apple Core Group and iSchool Africa.

In 2012, Brad joined VentureWeb as a Senior Account Manager and Experience Design Lead, working with Accenture on enterprise-level solutions. Brad later became a Product Design Manager and Team Lead, overseeing the design of internal platforms for over 120,000 consultants.

From 2015 to 2017, Brad founded and managed their own web consulting business called Giant Sites, serving various clients in product design, UX/UI, development, and marketing. Brad led the product design team at Nedbank, providing strategic design direction and delivering innovative solutions for financial services. Their projects included virtual cards, credit applications, onboarding processes, and banking dashboards.

Brad Demos completed their education at the University of Johannesburg, where they obtained a B-Tech Multimedia Honors degree, specializing in Multimedia Design with a focus on Web, UI/UX/Business. Brad graduated Cum Laude in 2008. Prior to that, they finished their Matric at King Edward VII School (KES) in 2003, earning an Exemption with Merrit. In addition to their formal education, Brad has obtained several additional certifications, including SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager, UX Bootcamp, Management 3.0 Fundamentals, Agile Boot Camp using Scrum Framework, Accredited Customer Experience Masters Course (ACXM), A-Z of Branding, Digital Creator, and iSchoolAfrica (institution and year of completion not specified).
