Dale Heyns

Dale Heyns has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Dale started their career at Nedbank in 2023 as the Senior Delivery Experience Lead, where they were responsible for delivering ventures aligned with the company's purpose. Prior to this, they worked at Standard Bank Group in various roles. From 2016 to 2023, they were the Ecosystems Domain Lead, overseeing the improvement of ecosystems thinking across the organization. Before that, they served as a Solution Design Manager, contributing to the establishment of the Innovation pillar and leading internal innovation sourcing. Dale also coordinated the Digital Workstream and provided support to the Shared Services department. Additionally, Dale Heyns began their career in the Graduate Trainee program at Standard Bank Group, gaining knowledge in various business units.

Dale Heyns attended the University of Cape Town from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. In 2019, they participated in the Standard Bank Group Digital Transformation Programme at MIT Sloan Executive Education. In the same year, they also completed a short course in Finance for Non-Financial Managers at the Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town. In 2022, they completed the Design Thinking In Practice program at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design Thinking Afrika. Additionally, in 2017, they completed a course in Introduction to Desktop Publishing at Vega School. Prior to their university studies, Dale attended St. Stithians College from 2007 to 2011, but no specific degree or field of study is specified for that period.
