Renato Medina

Renato Medina has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. renato currently serves as the Director of Operations NML at Nederman since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Northeastern Technical College from January 2019 to December 2020. Renato also held the role of Plant Manager at Oldcastle Lawn & Garden, Inc. from November 2015 to January 2019, where they were responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a large assembly and distribution facility. renato served as a Safety Coordinator at James Hardie Building Products from March 2014 to October 2016. Renato's earlier experience includes roles as a Plant Supervisor at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company from March 2010 to March 2014, a Shift Supervisor at Owens Corning from June 2006 to August 2009, and a Company Commander in the US Army from 2003 to 2006.

Renato Medina has a Master of Arts degree in Leadership from Dallas Baptist University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they pursued a Specialist in Safety and Health degree from the University of Texas at Arlington's OSHA Education Center from 2012 to 2014. Renato also holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from Texas A&M Kingsville, which they completed from 1986 to 1990.

In addition to their formal education, Renato has obtained several certifications. renato is an OSHA Authorized General Industry Trainer, having received this certification from UT Arlington in September 2019. renato also completed the OSHA 501 Train the trainer certification from UT Arlington in September 2015. Furthermore, Renato achieved the Specialist in Safety & Health certification from the University of Texas at Arlington in October 2014.
