Richard van der Sluis

Richard van der Sluis has a diverse work experience in the logistics industry. Richard started their career at Rotterdam Short Sea Terminals B.V., where they held various roles including Baliemedewerker, Werkvoorbereiding medewerker, Bargeplanning, and Scheepsplanning from 2011 to 2018. In 2018, they joined APM Terminals as a Marine Planner(24/7) until 2020. Following that, they worked at Broekman Logistics as a Customer Service from December 2020 to March 2022, and later as a Teamleider customer service Offshore & Warehousing from April 2022 to August 2022. Currently, Richard is serving as the Operations Manager at Neele-Vat Logistics starting from September 2022.

Richard van der Sluis has an education history that includes obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with distinction from Business School Nederland, which they completed from 2019 to 2022. Richard also pursued further education in process optimization with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Lean Six Sigma Groep from 2021 to 2022. In the past, Richard completed an HBO Management program with a focus on Management Informatics and Business Information Systems at NCOI Opleidingen from 2015 to 2017. Furthermore, they have a background in Haven Management and related areas such as ADR dangerous goods, IMDG Code, and Cargadoor I, which they studied at STC Group from 2009 to 2013.
