Subboh Jaffery

A creative before anything else, Subboh started his career as a journalist and producer. He wrote greatly on arts & culture, covering a variety of theatrical and literary events for the Pak-China institute, and produced marketing content for Daraz. He then served as a product and marketing coordinator at an early-stage startup before returning to the writing desk with Dawn newspaper, again covering culture.

In 2021, Subboh moved to Tearsheet, an industry-leading fintech paper in the US, as a reporter. The time spent learning about fintech there, through extensive research and regularly engaging business and thought leaders, came to define his path in life. Seeing technology's effect on how financial services are provided, and its ability to create positive economic outcomes for individuals and communities, he knew this was something he wanted to jump deep into.
