Judy Hale is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in pro bono work and academia. Currently serving as Pro Bono Manager and Staff Attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services since July 2021, Judy also teaches a Human Trafficking course as an Adjunct Professor at Chatham University. As a Steering Committee Member for Cities for CEDAW Pittsburgh, Judy contributes to gender equity legislation development. Participation in the Pennsylvania Interbranch Commission for Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Fairness and volunteer roles at Pittsburgh Friends Meeting highlight Judy’s commitment to community service. Previously, Judy held positions at Women's Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh and the Washington County Court of Common Pleas, as well as several teaching roles at the University of Pittsburgh and LaRoche College. Judy holds a Juris Doctor from Thomas R. Kline School of Law, a Master's in Public Administration from Seattle University, and a Bachelor's in Sociology & Women's Studies from Ohio University.
