Leah Tate Jenkins, CCUE, CUDE has had a diverse work experience. Leah started their career at Capital Area CASA Association as a Training Coordinator, where they handled inquiries from potential volunteer advocates, facilitated orientation meetings, and screened volunteers. Leah then joined Neighbors Federal Credit Union as a Training Specialist, responsible for creating the teller training program and conducting compliance training. Eventually, they became the Vice President, Talent Development at the credit union, overseeing all training programs and assessing training needs.

Leah Tate Jenkins, CCUE, CUDE completed their education at Louisiana State University from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education. Prior to that, they attended Ville Platte High School and received a diploma between 1986 and 1990. In addition to their formal education, Leah has also obtained various certifications. Leah became a Credit Union Development Educator through the National Credit Union Foundation in June 2023. In March 2017, they earned the Korn Ferry 360 certification and the Korn Ferry Leadership Architect certification from Korn Ferry. Finally, in March 2012, they obtained the Certified Credit Union Executive certification from the CUNA - Credit Union National Association.
