Loong Jin Chow

Loong Jin Chow has held a variety of roles in the software engineering and open source development industries since 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they served as Technical Director for the NTU Open Source Society. In 2010, they held the role of System Administrator Intern for Genseq and Intern for Solution Space Pte Ltd. From 2010 to 2012, they were an Ubuntu Developer and Package Maintainer for Ubuntu. During this same time period, they were also an Associate Software Engineer for Red Hat. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Debian Developer for Debian. In 2016, they became a Staff Software Engineer for Zendesk and held the role of Senior Software Engineer from 2018 to 2022. In 2022, they joined Nektar.ai as a Staff Software Engineer.

Loong Jin Chow completed a Bachelor's of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Taylor's University-College from 2007 to 2008 and Sri Cempaka from 2002 to 2006.
