Pinky Mashigo

Director Operations at Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital

Pinky Mashigo has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Pinky began their career as a Researcher at the Development Policy Research Unit at the University of Cape Town in 1992. Pinky then worked as a Programme Officer at the Delegation of the European Union in South Africa from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they became self-employed as a Development Consultant from 1996 to 2005. Pinky then joined the National Treasury of South Africa as a Development Consultant from 2005 to 2009. Pinky Mashigo then transitioned to the gaming industry, working as a General Manager at Grand Gaming Hot slots from 2009 to the present. In 2017, they also took on the role of Director of Operations at the Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital Trust.

Pinky Mashigo obtained a Master's degree in Economics from Queen Mary University of London, where they studied from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they completed their Matriculation degree at Inkamana High School, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science, graduating in 1982 after studying for three years.
