Keaton knows the importance of community engagement and thorough qualitative analysis to inform transit plans and street redesigns. A specialist in corridor analysis, long-term neighborhood transit plans, and complete streets design, he is passionate about creating safe streets. His aim is to make transit and the public realm more equitable, accessible, safe and efficient.

Previously, Keaton worked as an internal consultant for New York City Transit to streamline and forecast operations and hiring practices on the city’s most crowded lines. For the New York City Economic Development Corporation, he developed a pilot proposal for implementing automated vehicles on Governor’s Island. He also helped to shape the complete streets policy adopted by St. Louis County government.
