Chandra Rangan is the current Chief Marketing Officer at Neo4j. Chandra has held this position since February of 2022. Prior to their current role, Rangan served as an Executive at Google from June 2018 to February 2022. In this role, they led product and commercial strategy, planning, and operations for Google Geo Maps Platform. From 2018 to 2020, Rangan also served as the global marketing lead for Google Cloud Platform across Anthos, AI/ML & analytics, cloud native, dev tools and IaaS.

Before joining Google, Rangan spent three years as VP Marketing & Sales Enablement at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). In this role, they were responsible for leading global marketing for HPE Enterprise Security and HPE Software's $3.5bn portfolio. After HPE Software merged with Micro Focus in September 2017, Rangan's role expanded to include the entire $4.4Bn portfolio with 240+ products & solutions, along with global sales enablement. Rangan led a team of 150 in this role.

Prior to joining HPE, Rangan served as VP Enterprise Marketing at Symantec from October 2009 to December 2015. Before that, they were Director of Product Management at Gartner from March 2009 to October 2009.

Chandra Rangan has a MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BSc (Hon) in Information Systems and Computer Science from the National University of Singapore. Chandra also has a certification from Pragmatic Marketing in Pragmatic Marketing from 2010.

They work with Philip Rathle - VP, Products, Mike Asher - CFO, and Jim Webber - Chief Scientist. Dave Packer - VP, Product Marketing, Natalia Ivakina - Content Analyst, and Nitin Sharma - Director, Field Marketing North America report to Chandra Rangan. Their manager is Emil Eifrem, CEO.
