Megan Hogan

Megan Hogan is a seasoned scientist specializing in synthetic biology and genomics, currently serving as Team Lead for NGS and Mammalian Synthetic Biology at Neochromosome, Inc. since July 2021. Prior to this role, Megan held various positions at NYU Langone Medical Center from April 2016 to July 2021, focusing on the mechanistic study of regulatory variation and noncoding genetic influence on transcriptional regulation. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where novel transcription-factor mediated chromatin organization in mouse embryonic stem cells was investigated, and an extensive research background at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, including work on transcriptional regulation during embryonic stem cell differentiation. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
