Troy Svihl

Troy Svihl is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property, particularly in the medical device and diagnostics sectors. Currently serving as In-House Counsel at HTG Molecular Diagnostics since 2021, Troy previously held roles such as Patent Counsel at Billion & Armitage and Senior Patent Counsel at Abbott Diagnostics, where significant achievements included managing high-value patent portfolios and directing complex contract negotiations. With a robust background as Senior Director of Intellectual Property at Entellus Medical, Troy played critical roles in strategic acquisitions and litigation management. Additional experience includes positions at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner, P.A., and Synthes GmbH, focusing on patent preparation, prosecution, and oversight of European IP affairs.
