Bianca Weissbrich

Bianca Weissbrich is an experienced professional in the field of immunology and gene therapy, currently serving as Associate Director at Neogene Therapeutics since July 2021. Prior to this role, Weissbrich held the position of Director of Discovery & Pre-clinical R&D at Kiadis Pharma from November 2019 to June 2021, focusing on NK cell therapeutics. Weissbrich's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Scientist at Kite Pharma from July 2015 to September 2019, specializing in R&D for TCR gene therapy targeting solid tumor indications. Additionally, Weissbrich was a Graduate Student Researcher at the Technische Universität München from May 2011 to June 2015, working on T cell receptor avidity in chronic infections. Weissbrich holds a Doctor rerum naturalium in Experimental Medicine, a Master's Degree in Immunology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, supported by education from esteemed institutions including the Technical University of Munich and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
