Claire Wheeler

Claire Wheeler is the Chief Marketing Officer at Neolth and has over twenty years of experience in the field of medicine. Claire has worked as an assistant professor, a clinical supervisor, and an author. In their current position, they are responsible for Neolth's marketing and communications strategy.

Claire Wheeler began their career as an assistant professor at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health. Claire taught full time and developed three new courses for the university. After 17 years at the school, they left to become the Chief Medical Officer at Neolth Inc.

At Neolth, Claire Wheeler oversaw the company's medical operations and was responsible for developing its marketing and communications strategy. Claire left after 4 years to become a Senior Faculty Member and Clinical Supervisor at The Center for Mind-Body Medicine.

At The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, Claire Wheeler was responsible for leading small groups and providing post-training clinical supervision for trainees. Claire also gave talks and presentations on mind-body medicine. After 22 years at the center, they left to become an author.

Claire Wheeler has written two books on health and wellness: 10 Simple Solutions to Stress and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Belly Fat Weight Loss. Claire has also been blogging for Psychology Today for 12 years. In addition to their writing, they have also taught as an instructor at Saybrook University and has been an adjunct associate clinical professor at Oregon Health and Science University.

Most recently, Claire Wheeler served as the Principal Investigator at Legacy Emanuel Hospital Trauma Center. In this role, they were responsible for researching ways to improve the quality of care for patients with traumatic injuries. Claire left after 4 years to become an Associate Fellowship at Integrative Medicine.

Claire Wheeler attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1983 to 1985, graduating with highest honors. Claire was a Regents Scholar and majored in physiology. Claire then attended the University of Michigan from 1995 to 1999, where they were a Regents' Fellowship and Rackham Non-Traditional Fellowship. Claire received their Ph.D. in psychology with a dissertation on long-term psychosocial outcomes of severe traumatic injury. Claire then attended Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine from 1985 to 1989, where they were a medical student. Claire is currently involved with Mind-Body Medicine at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine.
