Christopher Chaplin

Christopher Chaplin's work experience starts as an intern at Cahill Contractors in 2005 and moves into a graduate student researcher position at UC Berkeley. In 2017, they become a Data Engineering Fellow at Insight Data Science, and completes the program later that year. From 2018-2023, Christopher is a Data Engineer at Foresite Capital. Additionally, they work as a Technical Advisor at Insight Data Science from 2019-2020, where they help the Data Engineering Program review prospective fellows. In 2023, Christopher becomes a Senior Data Analytics Engineer at Neon Redwood. During their career, they also participated in the UC Berkeley Career Development Initiative for the Physical Sciences as a Summer Data Science Workshop researcher.

Christopher Chaplin attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2005-2009 where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Christopher then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution from 2009-2011. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley from 2012-2018.
