Paul Nimmerfall has a diverse work experience spanning various legal roles and teaching positions. Paul is currently working as the Director Legal at neoom ag since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Expert Adviser in Climate, Resources, and Energy at the Federation of Austrian Industries starting in March 2021. Simultaneously, they have been working as a University Lecturer on International Arbitration at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) since August 2019 and as a University Lecturer on Legal Language at the University of Vienna since March 2019.

In terms of legal practice, Paul has worked at Strohal Legal Group as both an Of Counsel and a Senior Legal Counsel, specializing in M&A and Energy Law, from June 2021 to April 2023 and from June 2021 to April 2022, respectively. Paul also gained experience in competition, M&A, and energy law as an Associate at Schoenherr Attorneys at Law from November 2017 to June 2021, and as a Legal Trainee from November 2015 to October 2017.

Paul Nimmerfall has also contributed to the academic field, serving as a University Lecturer on Business Law at MODUL University Dubai from June 2021 to August 2021, and as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Vienna from September 2015 to July 2016.

Additionally, they have gained valuable experience in the legal field through internships at Baker McKenzie in August 2015 and as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Higher Regional Court of Vienna from July 2020 to February 2021.

Paul Nimmerfall pursued their education in a sequential manner, with a focus on the field of law. Starting in 2013, they attended the University of Vienna, where they obtained a Mag. iur. degree in Law, completing their studies in 2017. Subsequently, Paul undertook an exchange program at the University of Edinburgh Law School in 2016 for a year, further enriching their knowledge in the legal field. In 2017, they continued their academic journey by enrolling in the University of Vienna once again, this time for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Law, which they successfully completed in 2020. Finally, from 2020 to 2022, Paul attended the Technische Universität Wien, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Renewable Energy Systems, diversifying their academic profile.
