Maha Prasad Adhikari

Maha Prasad Adhikari currently serves as the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank since April 2020. Adhikari previously held the position of CEO at Investment Board Nepal from June 2016 to April 2020 and served as Deputy Governor at Nepal Rastra Bank from March 1994 to December 2015. Adhikari's extensive experience in financial sector supervision is complemented by a solid educational background, including a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Nepal Commerce Campus. Additional education includes proficiency at Namuna Machhindra Campus and foundational studies at Sri Simpani Secondary School in Khotang.
