Kevin Counsell

Kevin Counsell has over fifteen years of experience as an economist. Kevin is currently the Associate Director at NERA Economic Consulting, a position they have held since 2008. Prior to that, Kevin was a Senior Associate at Charles River Associates from 2004 to 2008, and a Research Assistant at the New Zealand Institute for the Study of Competition and Regulation from 2002 to 2004. Kevin began their career as an Economic Statistician at Statistics New Zealand in 2000.

Kevin Counsell has a Master of Commerce (MCA) in Economics (Distinction) from Victoria University of Wellington, a Bachelor of Commerce (with Honours, First Class) in Economics from Victoria University of Wellington, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics from Victoria University of Wellington.

They work with Jeffrey A. Eisenach - Managing Director, Kate Foreman - Associate Director, and Alan Grant - Associate Director. Kevin Counsell reports to Lawrence Wu, President.
