Jessica Willows has extensive experience in environmental science and higher education policy, currently serving as a Senior Programme Manager at the Natural Environment Research Council since July 2018. In this role, Jessica leads strategic investments to advance NERC's priorities while engaging with various stakeholders, including research funders and the academic community. Previously, Jessica held positions as a Higher Education Policy Adviser at both the Office for Students and the Higher Education Funding Council for England, focusing on skills gaps and funding competitions. Earlier work includes coordinating Education for Sustainable Development at Nottingham Trent University and contributing to business development in the recycling sector. Jessica holds a Master of Science in Atmospheric Science from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Bristol.
