Jeffrey Hammond

Jeffrey Hammond has over 15 years of experience in the field of software quality assurance. Jeffrey started their career as a Sales Representative at iTOK in 2008, where they responded to customer inquiries and addressed technical issues. Following this, they worked at DVO Enterprises as a Support Manager, handling support requests, maintaining the file sharing network, and building the support website for Cook'n.

In 2010, Jeffrey joined Appigo as a Software QA Manager. In this role, they participated in product design reviews, developed test cases, and monitored application performance through customer feedback. Jeffrey remained with the company until 2016, contributing to the improvement of product quality and release readiness.

From 2016 to 2017, Jeffrey worked as a Software Test Analyst at USANA Health Sciences. During this time, they updated the team's workflow and process, reducing the time between releases. Jeffrey also developed test cases, documented application defects, and performed regression tests.

Jeffrey then transitioned to Chatbooks in 2017 as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Jeffrey'sresponsibilities included creating end-to-end tests, managing API testing, and performing exploratory testing based on customer support feedback.

In 2017, Jeffrey joined Clip as a QA Automation Engineer. Jeffrey played a crucial role in rebuilding the end-to-end automation framework, centralizing API documentation, and reducing settlement times from 48 hours to 24 hours through automation. Additionally, they built automated test matrices, resulting in a significant decrease in production bugs.

Jeffrey continued their career at Ancestry in 2018, working as a Quality Engineer. Jeffrey implemented test automation, built API automation for the CI/CD pipeline, and assisted in the introduction of Agile testing strategies to eliminate QA as a bottleneck.

In 2020, Jeffrey joined ModelOp as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. Jeffrey expanded the team by hiring and training additional QA Engineers and organized various team-building events. Jeffrey also developed an online training program to enhance the team's skill sets.

Prior to their current role, Jeffrey worked at Photo Butler as a Lead QA Engineer. Jeffrey managed a team of full-time and offshore QA Engineers, improved the work pipeline in Jira, and served as the sole tester for a product used by Nasdaq, which received a Webby Award.

In 2023, Jeffrey will begin working at Nerd United as a Senior QA Engineer.

Jeffrey Hammond attended Utah Valley University from 2012 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
