Josh Allred

Josh Allred has over 15 years of experience in software engineering. Josh is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Nerd United since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Cricut as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2021 to May 2023. Before joining Cricut, Josh spent over a decade at Ancestry.com, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer. Josh'sresponsibilities at Ancestry.com included migrating legacy services to newer technologies and architectural solutions, as well as working on greenfield projects. Josh also has experience working as a Software Engineer at Reservation Nexus and ApexConnex, LLC.

Josh Allred attended Brigham Young University from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
