David Stallworth

Medical Director at NES+Health

David Stallworth has extensive work experience in the medical field. David began their career as a General Surgeon at The Surgeons' Group in 1998 and worked there until 2003. From 2003 onwards, they held various roles at different organizations, including Monroe County Hospital, where they worked as a Surgeon/ER medicine and later became the Medical Director of the MCH ER. David also served as the Medical Director of Emergency Services at The Schumacher Group from 2013 to 2021. In 2019, they became the Medical Director of Comfort Care Hospice. Currently, they are working as the Medical Director at NES+ Health since 2021.

David Stallworth attended Birmingham-Southern College from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their field of study at the college was British History/Biology. Following their undergraduate studies, Stallworth enrolled at The University of Alabama School of Medicine from 1983 to 1987. However, it is not specified if they obtained a degree during this period. David then furthered their education by pursuing a residency in General Surgery at The University of Alabama Hospital/UAB Medical Center from 1987 to 1992.
