Jithin P M

Jithin P M has a range of work experience in different roles and industries. Jithin started their career as an Office Administration intern at Omkar Manpower Consultancy in July 2018, where they performed tasks such as tender processing, clerical duties, and record-keeping. In August 2019, they completed an Internship Trainee program with the Geological Survey of India, where they gained experience in geological mapping, plotting structural data, and interpreting geomorphological features.

In 2021, Jithin worked as a Project Student at the National Center for Seismology, where they conducted a project on tracking and monitoring the Super Cyclone Amphan through ambient seismic noise under the guidance of Dr. A.P. This project allowed him to develop skills in data analysis and research.

In 2022, Jithin joined SysGlob Software Solutions Private Limited as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst, where they worked on analyzing geographic information systems data. Jithin then interned at Engineer Philosophy Web Services Pvt. Ltd. as a Geographic Information Systems Intern, where they gained further experience in the field.

Currently, Jithin is working at NeST Digital as a Trainee GIS Engineer, where they are expanding their knowledge and skills in the field of Geographic Information Systems.

Jithin P M completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from MG University between 2015 and 2018. Jithin then pursued a Master of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from the Kerala University of Fisheries & Ocean Studies in Kochi from 2019 to 2021.

In terms of additional certifications, Jithin obtained a certification in "3 Months Advanced Training in GIS" from SysGlob Software Solutions Private Limited in March 2022. Jithin also received certifications in "Basics of Remote Sensing Geographical Information System and Global Navigation Satellite System" from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in August 2020, and in "21 days GIS online training program using "QGIS"" from the Department of Geography, Central University of Karnataka in July 2020.
